Update on Miscellaneous Consular Services

With immediate effect, all applicants are advised NOT to send their ‘Miscellaneous Consular Applications – Attestation Service Applications’ to the Consulate by postal means.

2. Transition to VFS Global (Effective August 1, 2025):
With effect from 1st August 2025, all services including Miscellaneous Consular Services will be handled through the Consulate’s authorized service provider i.e., M/s VFS Global, at the following address: 1200 Altmore Ave Suite 175, Sandy Springs, GA 30342.
(Services relating to Registration of death/NOC for transport of mortal remains/ashes and Issue of Life Certificate will continue to be provided at the Consulate).

3. IN CASE OF ANY EMERGENCY, applicants can reach out to the Consulate’s EMERGENCY HELPLINE NUMBER: ‪+1 (404) 910 7919‬. Please note that the facility is reserved for genuine emergencies like visa in death cases, transportation of mortal remains etc. Applicant should call the emergency number to ascertain pre-requisites of supporting documents for these services and to ensure that they fall in the category of emergency services, which cannot be postponed to the next working day of the Consulate.
