Accordingly, any PIO card having validity beyond January 09, 2015 will be considered as valid and the PIO cardholder having a valid passport can travel to India. However, it is strongly advised to get the PIO card converted to OCI card because of various advantages of OCI cards which are mentioned on our website. In case of any clarification/query related to PIO or OCI Cards, the undersigned can be reached. It is requested to circulate the Indian diaspora in your area.
