WACA Atlanta presents: India Rising: A Discussion with Amb. Kienneth Juster, Former U.S. Ambassador, The Republic of India

Kenneth Juster was U.S. Ambassador to India 2017-2021, a most extraordinary time in U.S.-Indian relations.  Over the past 20 years, bilateral relations have grown from stand-offish to correct to friendly to close. In 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a state visit to the U.S. which President Trump reciprocated in 2020.  A U.S.-Indian security relationship is growing closer with the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue with India, Japan, Australia, and the United States meeting regularly to discuss issues of mutual interest in the Indo-Pacific and the Chinese complaining that the Quad “incites discord” in Asia.

Join us on July 8 at noon ET to hear Ambassador Juster discuss how India and the United States become closer strategic and defense partners, and what we can expect in the next four years of U.S.-India relations under President Joe Biden.

Public Program Open & Complimentary To All.
